Challenger Learning Center
  • CLC founded after the Challenger Space Shuttle Astronauts lost on launch in 1986
  • Space flight simulations primarily for students of all ages
  • Flights integrated into school curriculum amplifying state, federal education standards
  • Each flight consists of space lab and mission control experiences for 30 students
  • Each mission prvides 6 to 8 weeks of preflight curriculum in the classroom
  • Team building and leadershiop development opportunities for regional businesses
  • Over 200 classroom teachers receive professional development annually at CLC
  • Administration offices and mechanical, maintenance spaces
Economic Impact of the Challenger Learning Center of Wyoming
