Toni Brown is a graduate of University of Wyoming, majoring in English and Elementary Education. Toni has an extensive background in education. She was voted Wyoming Science Teacher of the Year in 1989. She attended the Space Camp in Huntsville, AL and as a teacher in space applicant; she attended training sessions in Houston, TX for the first Challenger Learning Center missions. She has four daughters and is active in the community. She has been involved with the High Plains Energy Technology Center, Challenger Learning Center, Campbell County Planning Commission, the American Legion, and the 4-H Horse Development Council. She has a passion for flying and obtained a private pilot’s license in 1979. She received a commercial pilot’s license in 1995. She is also a member of the International Ninety-Nines Women Pilots, Civil Air Patrol, and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
